We were as confused as most people with the various theories on the best way to help those most in need.

One view on Government Foreign Aid is “it takes money from the residents in developed countries and gives it to the well-off in underdeveloped countries.”

Another view is that money given to large international charities filters from the top down, and just how much reaches those most in need at the bottom is debateable.
