To extend our model of a competitively priced water system backed by an economic activity to ensure its maintenance long-term
To create a model of an agricultural cooperative not previously done in the Gambia
Pamela Morgan and Brian Harrold are the trustees of PING Charity and we thought we should put faces to the names.
WE are excited about this years project, developing drip feed systems with several groups. We are setting up a cooperative specialising in bananas, a first in The Gambia. Each cooperative requires 9k to finance the first year to set up a sustainable market garden and get the produce to market. Then it is sustainable.
