We are thrilled to share updates on two recent water system projects that have brought clean water to hundreds of people in need.

Bulenghat Water System, a suburb of Brikama, is the village of a kind man who generously loaned us his car and driver to visit all our project sites over the past two years. We are delighted to give back to his community by providing them with access to clean water. The new water system will serve approximately 500 people and was completed at a cost of £4,300.

Njoben Fulledu Water System Upgrade The village of Njoben Fulledu approached us after successfully raising funds to upgrade their older water system with new solar panels and a freshly painted tank and structure. Unfortunately, their pump broke down, and all their funds had already been used. We stepped in to provide a Grundfos pump, restoring their water supply. This upgrade will ensure the system functions efficiently for many years to come. With 304 compounds in the village, this assistance has benefitted a large number of people. The total cost of this project was £1,100.

Here’s a heartfelt message we received from Modou Boye, a resident of Njoben Fulledu:"I can’t thank you guys enough. We are very happy that you’ve brought our water system back to normal again. The whole village can now access clean water, which means a lot to us, honestly. The Alkalo and the entire village elders deeply appreciate it."

Mjobeen Dara Garden Pump, we provided a new garden pump for £220. This pump will help expand an already thriving garden, supporting sustainable agriculture in the community.

Looking Ahead we currently have three more projects awaiting clean water systems. If you have any resources or would like to contribute, your support would make a significant difference in the lives of many.
